PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Virtual events coming up you should access!

Happy Monday!

Boy! Was it a busy week last week at C.A.R. spring meeting and LEG day. Thank you to all who were able to attend. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate a few of our members on recent achievements. Congratulations to Alex Salazar on becoming our Region 12 Assistant Chair. He will be getting ready this year to represent us as Region 12 Chair for 2023. I would also like to Congratulate Sabrina Brown for her WIN from N.A.R Inaugural Fair Housing Champion award. It's great to see our membership being recognized for their hard work and dedication to the Realtor Industry. For LEG day we had one hot topic bill AB 2710- "Rental property right of first offer" this bill related to who sellers can offer their rental properties for sale to first. After each region visited with their respective representatives be it assembly, congress and senate, we were informed that evening that the author of the bill had pulled it completely. That was a huge success for the Realtor Party and is a great example of the hard work that is being done with your participation. We encourage you to continue to be a voice for your clients and your business. C.A.R. has also requested more funds for the down payment assistance program, so hopefully M.A.R. will be able to apply for grants to help our clients soon.

Annual Dues Billing 2022

Has been sent out, due February 15, 2022 (late fees apply after this date). An additional C.A.R late fee applies after February 28, 2022. Unpaid accounts have been inactivated. You can view your billing statement and make payment by going to https://www.nar.realtor/ and selecting pay dues at the top of the page. Please make checks payable to Madera Association of Realtors. You can also call our office for payment.

CRMLS Billing for 2nd Quarter
Has been sent out, due April 1st, payable by April 6th (late fees apply after this date).

Earn points on your RCE ADF or Re-certification form with these online courses!

The Advanced REALTOR® Association Management (ARAM) course is worth 75 points on the ADF and the Professional Standards course is worth 20 points on the ADF.

New Membership

The applicant(s) are subject to final Board and membership approval. Any objections by membership shall be submitted in writing, signed and submitted to the Membership Committee within 7 days of this notice. Any comments will be shared with the applicant (s). Applicants will be provided in writing final approval within 20 days.

New Member Orientation

May 24, 2022, for New Realtors who have joined the Madera Association
New members will receive a registration email

Code of Ethics Requirement Deadline

If you have not submitted certificate of completion please do so as soon as possible. The cycle 6 (last cycle) grace period ended on March 1st, members who were due and have not met the requirement have been inactivated. The cycle 7 (current cycle) deadline is December 31, 2022. You can check your status and take the course for free through NAR.
