Let me start out by saying thank you to all who participated in the Business Extravaganza and Home Expo. A BIG shout out to Vivianna Figueroa and Rosa Ochoa-Luna for taking the lead on the expo and having a great turn out.
There have been a lot of questions regarding our market and what the future holds for real estate. Here is some information for Fresno and Madera county via car.org, that can hopefully show the direction this market is heading. As we know in this industry shift happens. Here is some information to consider:
Fresno County: May Median Price, $420,000. April Median Price, $425,000 that is a -1.2% decrease in price, month over month. The median price in May 2021 was $361,500 which is a 16.2% increase year over year. Sales in Fresno county are down -4.4% month over month and -8.6% year over year.
How is Madera doing?
Madera County: May median price, $430,000. April median price was $418,000 which is a 2.9% increase in price month over month. The median price in May of 2021 in Madera was $360,000 which is a 18.4% increase in price, year over year. Sales are down -4% month over month and down -5.6% from this time last year.
